Keep Or Toss/How Long Should You Keep Make Up

Do you every wonder how long should you keep your make up ? Well, here are the universal guidelines of expiration on makeup. However, keep in mind if it smells weird, develops a film, or has a mold-green tint to it then it is time to toss it.

Mascara: Toss your mascara after 3 months. Mascara has the shortest life span of all make up.

Lipstick:1 to 2 years This product is one of the longest lasting ones.

                                                                                                                            Blushes and powders: Discard cream blushes after a year, powder blushes and powders after 2 years.

   Eye and Lip Pencils: Can be kept for three years. 

Foundations:This product usually  lasts a year 
                Oil Based Foundation – 18 months
                 Water Based Foundation – 12 months
